Показатель темпа инфляции (inflation) по товарам, реализованным или произведенным в Великобритании (заменяет использовавшийся ранее индекс оптовых цен (wholesale price index)). Отражает изменения цен примерно 10 000 товаров за один и тот же базовый год. Сравни: Retail Price Index (индекс розничных цен).
